Orchid Painting

I have recently started a new painting a little cluster of orchids. :)

I start (most) of my paintings with an under painting, a diluted mix of burnt umber and water to map out where things are going to go and place my values.

I wanted to incorporate several different shades of green I mixed my own colors and I ended up using all of them plus more! 😋

A lonesome flower. LOL! 😂

Back round all layed out....it is a little darker that my original plan, but I love the way that it is turning out. All the pieces are falling into place! 💓
